西方参有九星，五星贯其中，四星环其外，如首如尾，如足如手。有白虎之象。而金之一星，则为西方白虎之秀气，如秋生于寅申，或在寅申上安命，谓之大人，虎变酉上尤妙，又谓之白虎，当权，无不贵显者。
酉虽在金旺之乡，而冇毕月乌之次舎焉。故金月同居，则为吉也。茍人命安于此宫，得金月以相扶，必能改变。故曰大人虎变。
