天一生水，为人之精，地二生火，为人之神。水。火顺受人命，得之为精神具足。
精为养命之源，神为养形之源。精以养命而运内，神以养形而运外。内阴外阳。故水为阴之精，火为阳之神。阴之不可无阳，阳之不可无阴。水与命同生于昼，火与命同生于夜。相望而各不失度者，岂不获其厚福。欤！又名坎离交会格。
