壬水合去丁火之杀，丙火官星得禄于日支，似乎佳美,所以出身旧家，因其貌美而菁媚。群以赛杨妃称之。四五岁时，眉日秀丽，及十三四益娇冶，成为画中人。年十八，归士人妻，士素醇谨好学，惑而昵爱之，逾年而学废，竟以痨病而死。从此淫秽不堪，后身败名裂。无所依托，自缢而死。此造因多合之故耳。夫十士之合。以官化伤官，谓贪合忘官，且巳申合亦化伤官，丁壬合则暗化财星，其意中将丙火置之度外明矣。其情必向丁壬一边，况乎干支皆合，无往不是意中人也？

此造丁火阴柔，生于深秋，杀官重叠，必不能养。殊不知官杀虽旺，妙在戌月，通根身库，足以制水；更妙无金，时支寅木不伤，气贯生时，足以纳水，不但易养成人，可遂书香之志。然官杀一类，勿以官为喜，杀为憎，身弱者官皆是杀，身旺者杀皆是官，只要无财有印，便为佳造。如云丁火死寅，谬之极矣。寅中甲木，乃丁之嫡母，何以为死？凡阴干以生地为死，死地为生，非正论也。果幼年无疾，聪慧过人，至甲戌年入泮后。运走南方火土，制杀扶身，未可限量也。

壬水生于申月，虽秋水通源，而财杀并旺，以申金为用。第天干丙辛、地支申巳皆合，合之能化，亦可帮身，合之不化，反为羁绊，不顾日主，喜我为用也，且金当令，火通根，只有贪恋之私，而无化合之意。妙在日主自克丙火，使丙火无暇合辛，寅去冲动申金，使其克木、则丙火之根反拔，而日主之壬，固无牵制之私，用神随日主而驰骤矣，至癸巳运，连登甲第，仕至观察，而成其大志也。
