He has a noble, loving disposition; he is a benefactor to all that seek his friendship, and a despiser of discords and quarrelling, fond of travelling, and of large ideas in most matters. There is some tendency to pride or undue egotism in this position, unless the general tendency of the horoscope counteracts.

S$ Medium height; strong, well-built, bony individual; swarthy ¢ complexion, red, or sandy curly hair. Disposition daring, determined, resolute.

a confident sort of individual, caring for nothing and nobody ; must be first in spite of any consequences ; loves war and contention, consequently there is no peace for long together where such an one is. Excellent as a pioneer in any worldly enterprise, since the native is boundless in resource with a constant flow of ideas.

© A strong and well-made person, of moderate stature, with light © brown or gold coloured hair, a noble and commanding disposition, possessing much boldness and daring. ‘This position, other things being equal, shows as a rule the best side of the Aries nature, and gives one who is truly a pioneer fired with noble ideals. But note the position of Mars.

9 A person of slender form, moderate stature, rather light hair, and 9 light grey eyes. Disposition extravagant, wasteful, fond of pleasures, company, sports and gambling, in which he is not very successful. Inconstant in love ; and ruled by partners. ‘The inner ideals are lofty but unpractical.

% Short stature, or below the medium height, thin, with a poor & complexion, light brown hair. Alert and ‘jumpy’ in manner. The disposition is rather quarrelsome, fond of disputes and contentions, will not scruple to tell any amount of falsehoods in order to accomplish his designs. In those more advanced, a very active mind incessantly busy with various projects; idealistic and often unpractical, very discontinuous in thought.

) Thin, medium height, somewhat slightly built, active, mobile, ) changeable in the extreme: (but note position of Mars, if in a fixed sign this changeableness is much modified). Rash, eager, active, self-opinionated, “cocksure’ ; ready in ideas, too much so for strict truthfulness, bold, dauntless, enterprising. ‘Ihe character depends very much on the Sun’s position, and the temperament upon that of Mars, also aspects. ‘The hair is usually light, unless there are aspects from Saturn, the eyes somewhat hard, but bright and overflowing with ‘magnetism.’ Ambitious to lead, always in the front, and not seldom in the way. Very difficult to deal with. Always starting new things and never (or rarely) finishing them.

ttt This sign is decidedly sympathetic to the planet, which tendsto ‘*f add further grace and charm to its own inherent beauty. There is an indescribable charm of manner and acuriously winning smile. Rich creamy complexion, full flexible neck, soft seductive voice. Temperament musical, artistic and esthetic, with a strong tendency to the sensuous. This is the better type. Lower types are brutal and sensual with depraved tastes and large appetite for coarse pleasures.

Hi Rather short stature, with a dull, dark complexion, a boastful, HI conceited person, and a great eater. This is rarely a favourable position for this planet, and the rest of the horoscope must be looked to before forming any

ment; consider especially the Sun’s position and whether in favourable aspect to Uranus.

% Apt to be of aclumsy, awkward, ungraceful appearance ; dark hair hh and sallow complexion. This is not a favourable position unless very well

aspected, there is a strong tendency to gratification of the senses, and a disposition to go to great lengths in securing the object of desire.

7 Below the average height, not quite proportionate, of a dark 7 swarthy complexion and dark brown hair, wise and judicious in his ideas, a lover of the opposite sex, and possessing an amiable disposition. ‘This is a rather favourable position for Jupiter, especially for worldly prosperity, unless much afflicted. ‘The disposition is as a rule excellent, however.

¢ Rather below the middle height, with an obscure, dark complexion, large mouth, broad face and dark hair. ‘There is no peace-making about this individual ; he will be found to be a treacherous, dissembling sort of person, that is no good to himself or anyone else. ‘This as a rule, but there are great possibilities in this position when the horoscope as a whole shows a highly developed moral character and a well-balanced nature.

Disposition bold, resolute, confident without reason, delights in contentions, fighting, etc., in which he is frequently successful, not that he or she necessarily joys in strife, but glories in overcoming obstacles. Much firmness and endurance.

@ Well-proportioned, medium stature, moderately good complexion, 9? dark brown hair, and blue or grey eyes. A good moral disposition, kind and obliging, always ready to do a kindly action to a neighbour, fortunate in most undertakings, and much respected. A very favourable position, unless illaspected.

% Middle stature, stout and somewhat corpulent, dark brown hair, & dark tawny complexion. ‘This is not a good position, unless accompanied by other planets ; a slow-witted person, with, however, some skill in weaving tales.

) Middle stature, sometimes quite short: body compact and usually ) well-proportioned ; face, at any rate, generally neat and clear-cut or ‘trim’ looking, with a smooth skin, sometimes dusky ; deliberate in movement, and takes very short steps when walking. ‘This is one of the best positions, as regards beauty, for the Moon rising; if well aspected, especially by Venus, there is often great comeliness and personal charm. ‘The nature is personally more fixed than with the Moon rising in any other sign, and there is often great obstinacy. The feelings are strong and usually very personal, and there is a great tendency to brood over real or imaginary wrongs or insults. ‘There is usually good health, unless badly aspected, but with a tendency to ‘lock up’ poisonous matters in the system unless sufficient exercise is taken, and as these natives are naturally very indolent and do not take much exercise this may result in various diseases. Plain living is essential for their health.

Large expressive eyes, luminous skin, great vocal range in speaking, now high, now low. Very musical and with some talent for poetry. Sensuous and insouciant. Fond of nonsense verses, leariques, etc. Low types are irresponsible, seldom actively harmful,

but sure to find their way into evil company and prone to mischievous acts, theft, etc.; chatterers.

Ki =A person of tall stature, generally light hair and eyes, with an HI eccentric disposition ; passionately fond of science, quick and active in all his movements. Will be a genius in some direction, probably science.

hkh_ Rather above the average height, with black or very dark hair; h ingenious, but not always of a good disposition. There is ability for concentration in mental pursuits, if well aspected by Mercury; but suspicion and over-carefulness are apt to prove a great hindrance to native’s success. ‘This position is sometimes an impediment to the moral nature, inclining to cupidity.

~~ Tall and well-composed person, with a kind and pleasant expression 7 of countenance, with dark brown hair and dark grey eyes; a really welldisposed, kind, and obliging person, of a good moral character, judicious in all things, fond of science and of female company. ‘There is an inclination to science and philosophy and usually some literary or poetical ability.

$ Tall,slight, active, but well-proportioned person,somewhat swarthy ¢ complexion, dark brown hair, grey or hazel eyes. Of a wandering, unsettled disposition, fond of strife, disputes, or rather arguments, but chiefly for the sake of argument more than with the desire to arrive at truth.
