Being cardinal and yet Venusian it is sufficiently definite to be interesting and yet plastic enough to adapt itself to others and willing to do so; being airy, it is essentially refined and concerned only with the higher emotions. Graceful, somewhat undulating carriage, medium height, rather tall than short, somewhat bird-like—dove-like—in figure and movements, easy and courteous in speech (in a peculiarly graceful way that mo other sign possesses), and willing to be interested in all subjects that please the companion. Proud, masterful and ambitious of power, usually possesses much psychic ability and displays an interest in occult matters, especially psychical research.

Y% Middle stature, rather fleshy and stout, swarthy complexion, dark 7 eyes. A boastful disposition, but fortunate in most transactions. Benefits through partners. Has great skill in achieving own ends and is somewhat resentful. A fruitful mind.

$ Medium height, broad flat face, dark swarthy complexion, black ¢ or very dark and curly hair. This is a revengeful, deceitful, malicious, quarrelsome person, who ought at all times to be treated courteously, for he is very ingenious in contriving means to attain his ends or purposes, also in the profession he may follow as a trade or business. In an otherwise strong horoscope this position denotes a capable surgeon where the intellectual abilities are of an appropriate character, also one suitable for position of authority as governor of a gaol, inspector of police, or other managerial capacity where strenuousness and force of personal will are necessary.

Of an ingenious and ambitious nature, very clever in wars and contentions, also in surgical operations, chemistry. Strong and commanding personality, resentful of injuries, and suspicious of the motives of others. A trustworthy overseer and can be relied upon to keep a secret.

brown hair, and dark grey eyes. In disposition contentious, quarrelsome, envious; a person rather to be avoided. This is not at all a favourable position for Venus, but it gives strong sex control. The native will rule his partners.

% About middle height, proportionate and strong body, dark curly &% hair, dark eyes and complexion. Ingenious and active mind, rather too fond of company, particularly that of the opposite sex; a great aptitude for making stinging speeches, when annoyed.

) Appearance here will greatly differ according to sex, males having a_ )) firmer and more strongly built body than females born with this position. In males the form tends to be somewhat bulky and in some cases coarse grained ; features not good, the nose usually badly formed or with a broken appearance ; temper uncertain, and quarrelsome. In females, body is often slight and wispy, with something of a moth-like appearance, eyes large and hollow and expression unsatisfied-looking, wistful or yearning ; the nature is uncertain and treacherous, or at least unreliable, prone to violent changes of taste or liking, fast friends one day, bitter enemies the next. Both these indications may be greatly modified by good aspects or good solar position ; but something of these tendencies is sure to remain. Great intuition in regard to Astrology may be looked for from this position.
