【谓夹禄，戊辰日戊午时，丁巳日丁未时，己未日己巳时，壬戌日壬子时，癸丑日癸亥时。凡见夹禄者，不可本禄上有岁月所占，占了则官实也，实则不能容物也。官不崇显也。其禄比盛物之器，空则容物，有禄占，非真夹禄也。假令宋景阳郎中命，庚午年，丁亥月，己未日，己巳时。两己夹午中之禄也，却不合庚午太岁，实了午位，又十月冲动，己巳夹禄不稳，即不至清显也。如此之命，华而不实也。凡见夹禄不稳，徒有虚耳，不可作夹禄论之。假如王中命，甲寅日，甲子时，二甲夹丑，丑乃金库之乡，乃甲之贵地，公运行辛丑，除通判，丑运足而交庚子，被大运庚子克了子上甲字，乃夹禄不住，走了贵气，一旦坏尽。所以福聚之地不可被伤，福聚之地不可无救，其余夹禄夹贵仿此。戊见己，庚见辛，壬见癸，皆为劫财，与甲见乙同，前五阳见五阴为劫财，克妻。后五阴见五阳，败财不克妻，防阴贼或小人相侵。乙以甲为亲兄，以戊己为财，甲能夺己坏戊。丁以丙为兄，丁以庚辛为财，丙能夺辛为妻破庚。己见戊为兄，己以壬癸为财，戊能夺癸为妻破壬。辛以甲乙为财，庚夺乙为妻破甲。癸见壬为兄，癸以丙丁为财，壬夺丁为妻破丙。假如甲夺乙财是也。】生月带禄，入仕居赫奕之尊；重犯奇仪，蕴藉抱出群之器。

建禄，乃甲生寅月，乙生卯月之类。月为父母，人从父母生身，如人从宅中而出，故月令为门户。大运离了月令，故曰“出门。行限运高低”，甲生寅月，禄旺寅中，甲木比肩先禄旺。占财，如人财物在父母家内，先有大哥收管，其弟不能别求名利。外又不遇财禄，专用见成有数之物，日渐支消，岂能丰富？运再遇比劫，如人 “再见弟兄，有分之人，算分家财在前，我已过用，无财分与，必致词讼争夺，破财弃妻，失子离父之象也，故建禄不富。”如癸亥、丁巳、丙寅、甲午，建禄长生，寅午合局愈旺，虽有壬癸官杀，己午戊己伤克去了，日主太旺，无官可倚，无财可托，所以贫贱。又戊申、甲寅、甲辰、丁卯，《月令》建禄，辰为财库，戊为偏财，申为甲，杀尽好不合见丁卯时，伤官劫财，甲以辛为官，被丁伤；以戊为财，被甲乙夺用。申为杀，被寅丙冲克。丙火为食，被申壬冲克财，官食俱伤，所以贫贱。又丁巳、丙午、己未、戊辰月令建禄，日主坐刃，劫财太重，本身比肩俱各带刃。行壬寅运，戊己夺壬财印相伤，寅巳相刑，寅刑禄元无位，己丑年冲起羊刃，被刑而死。《诗》曰：“建禄生嫌门户中，难招祖业值财丰，妻奴破败重重见，却作长年白发翁，从化若还成别格，自然名利两从容。”

此论拱贵拱禄二格者，乃两位虚拱贵禄之地，四柱不可占了贵禄之宫，则填实不容物，只为官星荣显也。其禄贵者，比之盛物之器皿，若空则容物，乃贵禄显荣。经云官崇禄显，定是夹禄之乡。又忌伤了日时，皆供不住矣。假如丁巳，丙午，甲寅，甲子，此是王郎中之命，此二甲来夹丑中之贵气，丑中癸水余气，辛金库墓，己土乘旺，乃甲木之财，岂不为贵，后运行辛丑除通判，入庚子运，庚金克甲木，又是午月，冲破甲子，乃天中杀，即空亡，夹贵不住，走了贵人，一旦坏了。庚戌，戊子，壬辰，壬寅，此乃戴大宝命，十一岁行庚寅中举，十九岁戊辰年中探花，行辛卯运填实卒。

辛亥庚子乙未甲申此女命以庚金为夫，喜透归禄，夫星得地，年杀又生于予而得垣。以格论之，为官杀混杂，以理推之，则又不然，取甲木配辛，日主乙与庚合。甲乙互相配合也。行卯运合局。身旺为福。一交甲辰运，申子辰三合水局，又遇丁亥年，壬水太旺，八字运岁，全是水象，庚金沉水，乙木死绝，乃水泛木浮也。如活木无土以培其根，被壬水浸淹摇荡其根矣，果患面肿浮面之病，而不禄矣。

壶中子云：五行欲其自足，勿论胎。注云：乃金木水火土也，得之足者，为五行借足格，须言借者谓年月日时，可占五行之四字，乃取当生真气所属而图之，盖真气即当年之主，味者添胎元一辰纳音浑四柱而为五，谓之五命，欲其五行足而不阙，据胎分经言，人怀胎二百七十日而生，医家以十月产者计其血脏干湿之一月也，况人有多月生者以何为准？故云：勿用胎元。天元变化书云：五行全，未必便贵，须支干有用，其间有正气、真气、官气者，可许为上。正气者印也，真气者五行旺，官气者真气来克也。假令甲子年金，丁丑月水，丁卯日火，辛丑时土，戊辰胎木，此天干杂，纳音无正气、真气、官气，只有辛字用，被丁多所制，不能旺也。虽五行全，贫下。如壬申年，戊申月，乙巳日，丙子时，己亥胎，天元有戊之贵气，化气真火，故卿监。玉掌诀云：五行全者论和柔，杂乱徒然一世休，相交克剥岂为佳，此命寻常恰似麻。
