63. © h C.—Is neither fortunate nor unfortunate, but tends to stop the moral growth. Gives power to assume responsibility, and generally excellent organising ability as well. If used correctly, promises the accumulation of wealth through economy, patience and perseverance but increases caution and self-restraining powers.

64. © ¥ A.—Denotes trouble in connection with social affairs ; difficulties in connection with religious matters ; health affected through excesses, and unless strict temperance is observed a tendency towards extravagance or extremes. In a depraved horoscope this denotes hypocrisy.

65. © ¥Y #.—Promises much good fortune, many social advantages, a religious spirit, much benevolence and sympathy. It gives prosperity in life, favours health, finance and love affairs.

66. © ¥% C.—Brings many opportunities in life, morally, socially and physically. It denotes prosperity, expansive sympathies and nobility of character.

67. © 6 A.—An unfavourable aspect, since it gives a liability to feverish tendencies, hasty conduct, and a tendency to become excited and careless, thus giving liability to accidents and errors of conduct through the desires being stronger than the will.

68. © 6&6 #&.—Good for the health and vitality. It strengthens the constitution, gives much will power, increases the energy and perseverance, causing the individuality to be determined, commanding and authoritative. It gives strength to the system, and denotes an enterprising spirit.

69. © $8 C—A powerful position, denoting a strong will, but with sometimes a tendency to exhibit passion or anger, with a liability to excess of feeling, and unless self-control is shown by the horoscope there is danger of going to extremes and becoming forceful. It denotes a dominating and powerful will, with abundance of energy behind it.

70. © 2 A. (4 ).—Tends to produce disappointments and often brings social difficulties, and unless the moral character is very strong it weakens the individuality. )

71. © 2 B.(V): or © 2 C—Gives a love of pleasure; stimulates the artistic faculties; refines the individuality, making the life more or less successful. It is generally a fortunate influence, more particularly where pleasures are concerned.

72. © ¥ C.—A doubtful position, sometimes giving good business ability by stimulating the intellectual faculty, although it is more often than not colourless.

73. © ) A.—Unfortunate, since it brings obstacles, delays and hindrances. Affects the health more or less, owing to lack of constant recuperative power. Is against fame or popularity. Sometimes affects honour or injures credit. Does not give success with superiors or those in authority, and very often affects the eyesight.

74. © ) B.—Improves the horoscope; brings success through the realisation and attainment of desires and wishes. It gives right ambition, and prosperity attending effort. It brings fame and recognition according to the ability. Brings success in matters where feeling is concerned, adding to the general sincerity of the nature.

75. © ) C.—Not always a favourable position, except with very advanced individuals, for then the individuality becomes very powerful. The conjunction is always more favourable for males than females.

Tue Moon is taken as a general significator of the personality, and its position and the sign are important, as the physical activities are mostly denoted by them. For fuller information concerning these positions see pages 79 to 85.

pendence, self-reliance ; sharp, shrewd and observant intellect; aspiring nature, hasty in speech; usually impulsive, with a tendency to rebel against authority.

“7, )) &.—Reserved, obstinate, persistent ; kind, sociable, dignified, intuitive and capable of endurance.

“8. ) U.—Literary tastes, active mentally and physically, quickwitted ; adaptable. Mental abilities easily developed.

79. ) 95.—Sensitive, imaginative, economical, receptive; tenacious, with psychic tendencies.

80. ) S{.—Fond of responsibility, persevering, affectionate; faithful and sincere ; honourable and dignified; kind and affectionate.

81, ) My.—Critical; business ability; love of hygiene; adaptable, clear mind, good memory and educatable.

82. ) =.—Refined tastes, courteous and obliging manners; perceptive and equable.

83 ) M.—Firm, self-reliant; at times abrupt and masterful; fond of secrecy ; interested in plots. Often mystical and fond of the occult. At times severely critical, and apt to be revengeful when slighted.

84. ) f.—Quick and active, fond of demonstration; at times rebellious ; prophetic tendencies ; fond of dual experiences.

85. ) V8.—Love of fame or recognition ; capable of responsibility ; often chaste and prudish; fond of economy; very sensitive to mental vibrations.

86. ) *.—Refined, but peculiar tendencies ; sociable, independent; fond of appreciation ; capable of studying human nature; fond of secret things.

87. ) .—Very receptive; often mediumistic ; inclined to despond ; hospitably inclined; romantic and usually fond of expressing sympathy.

The Moon’s position in the houses is always an important factor with regard to inclinations, and the instincts are usually centred in the house occupied by the Moon.

increases the ambition; gives ingenuity for planning; love of novelty and adventure; and some fame or public recognition is acquired, owing to the versatility that it usually produces.

89. ) in the Second House.—Fluctuating fortune; success in public affairs; commercial instincts; romantic or imaginative mind; the ability to make much out of little, with success in small matters or details.

90. ) im the Third House.—Love of knowledge; much curiosity ; experiences connected with relatives or brethren; successful in intellectual pursuits; somewhat changeable disposition.

91. )inthe Fourth House.—Interested in all psychic matters ; love of home; ability in domestic affairs; links with parents; fond of the occult and mystical; adventures at the close of life.

93. Dinthe Sixth House.—Wavering tendencies; lackof opportunities: troubles concerning health ; attachments to inferiors ; changeable nature where work is concerned; better success in the service of others; usually fond of ceremonies; indifferent fortune.

94. )in the Seventh House.—Desire for popularity ; active or roving life; fluctuating fortunes ; experiences through attachments with others; happy in partnerships, or where dual interests are concerned.

95. ) in the Eighth House.—Gain through partners and co-workers; occult tendencies; experiences in connection with deaths; usually a notorious or public death.

96. ) tthe Ninth House.—Philosophical tendencies; active mind; prophetic tendencies; fond of travel; mystical, and given to deep studies; peculiar in religious beliefs.

97. ) im the Tenth House.—Public fame or recognition; fond of changes; ambitious; acquires prominent positions; comes into either fame or notoriety, according to aspects.

98. ) im the Eleventh House.—Success through friends and acquaintances ; experiences connected with associations or societies; strong desires or aspirations; studental tendencies.

99. )im the Twelfth House.—Strange and often romantic experiences; liable to extremes, and great changes; often handicapped by surroundings or environment.
